Vandaag werd bekendgemaakt dat het team MultiLens van Hogeschool Eindhoven de winnaars zijn van de 2012 IT Challenge met hun App MultiLens. Het team kreeg de gouden medaille uitgereikt door Thierry Breton – Chairman en CEO van Atos – tijdens een ceremonie die plaatsvond op het hoofdkantoor van Atos in Bezons, Parijs.
Het thema van de eerste Atos IT Challenge is ‘Smart Mobility’. Er waren 77 inzendingen door teams van maximaal vijf studenten van verschillende universiteiten uit de hele wereld. De teams was gevraagd innovatieve contextbewuste toepassingen te ontwikkelen die overal, altijd en op elk apparaat bruikbaar zijn, met toegevoegde waarde voor zowel bedrijven als particulieren.
De jury van de IT Challenge koos het team MultiLens van Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven als winnaar. Zij versloegen hiermee twee andere finalisten: Snackium van Universiteit Mannheim, Duitsland en HouseFix van de Universiteit Warwick, Verenigd Koninkrijk.

Kees Kranenburg
Kees Kranenburg is CTO Systems Integration BeNeLux. His field of play is software development and application management and the organization, processes, methods and tools necessary to professionalize and industrialize them. He is responsible for the standardization and industrialization of service delivery and manages the core SI competences. Kees is member of Atos Global SI Software Engineering Process Group and chairman of Atos Global SI Software Engineering Technology Group. He is author of some books, “Model-based Application Development” (1995) and “Managing a Software Factory” (2008), among others, and several articles in public.
